  1. Bonitace / Dog evaluation – evaluates dog’s exterior look, character, defects and insufficiencies according to a breed standard. Bonitace together with dog’s pedigree is important for future breeding and selection of breeding couples.
  1. In order to be able to breed your dog he or she needs to pass the Bonitace evaluation. This evaluation is valid for life.
  1. Bonitace committee consists of 3 people: an evaluator of dog’s exterior, main breeding advisor and a show referee (possibly other breeders). Bonitace committee is allowed to postpone Bonitace of your dog due to health reasons etc.
  1. Bonitace committee follows Bonitace Regulations. The results are marked in Pedigree Papers (Prukaz Puvodu) as “chovny” – suitable for breeding or “nechovny” not suitable for breeding. Dog’s withers, date & a place of Bonitace are also marked in Pedigree Papers.
  1. Bonitace Committee is allowed to request a second evaluation of a dog that is suspected of a fake identity.
  1. Breeders have one month period to appeal to Club’s Committee. Accepted appeals will be re-evaluated during next Bonitace. Bonitace Committee will be extended by 2 members.
  1. Bonitace of foreign members can be substituted by a veterinary check of their dog. In such case a veterinarian should fill in an approved form including important data and confirming or excluding dog’s defects stated in a Breed Standard. Bonitace Committee will then evaluate the dog based on the veterinary form, Pedigree Papers and photos of a dog (whole body).

  1. Only healthy animals will be admitted. Each dog has to go through a veterinary check & should present a Health Book or a PET Passport with vaccinations up to date.
  1. Bonitace Committee is allowed to exclude dirty, uncared for dogs or dogs with parasites.
